Removing and installing manifold upper
section (M43TU)
E46 only
Remove microfilter. Release screws (1) and remove lower section
of microfilter housing (2).
Release bellows, remove bellows with air-mass flow sensor.
Remove Bowden cable for throttle actuation from throttle,
refer to 35 41 421.
Unscrew front manifold support.
Pull off vacuum hose (1).
Unscrew rear manifold support.
