Removing and installing or replacing
vibration damper
Special tools required:
•
11 8 182
•
11 8 183
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove fan cowl.
•
Remove fan.
•
Remove A/C compressor drive belt.
•
Remove alternator drive belt.
Convert special tool 11 8 183 to transmission (HP 26).
Detach exhaust mount (1) from transmission.
Mount special tool 11 8 183 and 11 8 182 on transmission
screws (2).
Adjust special tool 11 8 182 at flywheel toothing (3).
Release screws (1).
Remove vibration damper (2).
Tightening torque, 11 23 2AZ
.
Installation:
Replace screws.
Tighten down screws diagonally and evenly.
