Oil change in automatic transmission
(A5S 310Z)

Transmission oil,

refer to BMW Service Operating Fluids

or sticker on transmission.

Top-up quantity,

refer to Technical Data

Note:

Always perform oil change with transmission at operating
temperature.

Vehicle must be on flat ground and secured to prevent it from
rolling away.

Caution!

Dispose of old oil correctly.

Unfasten oil drain plug (1).

Drain off fluid.

Installation:

Replace sealing ring. Tightening torque,

refer to Technical Data 24 11 6AZ

Unfasten filler screw (2).

Installation:

Replace sealing ring. Tightening torque,

refer to Technical Data 24 11 7AZ
